Florence is easily reachable from the local train station, Cortona and Montepulciano are each 30 minutes away.

Accomodation is on the first floor, until recently downstairs was just for animals, though occasionally you will find us there.

A cozy living room with a wood-burning stove, wood beamed ceiling, a gray sofa, and various framed artwork on the walls. Multiple windows with wooden frames let in natural light. There is a fireplace with stacked firewood.

We're a 8 minute drive from Castiglione Del Lago, with its fantastic views of Lake Trasimeno, and beaches from where you can take a dip.

Castiglione is chock full of great restaurants and cafes, along with a medieval castle to explore.

Along with Cortona and Montepulciano, there are countless beautiful hill towns, that make for easy visits.

An hour away, you have Assisi, Siena and Arezzo, each great Renaissance treasures.​
