Getting Here

The easiest way to get here is to fly and hire a car. You will need a car as this is the countryside!

​The good news is there are lots of options, all connected by motorway.

​Perugia Airport is the closest, only 45 minutes away. Both Ryanair and British Airways fly there from London

​Florence is about an hour and a half away.

The two Rome airports are about 2 hours away. The car hire is generally more competitive there, and with so many flights, there are lots of options.

Getting Around

You can park for free at Castiglione Del Lago station, and you can get direct trains to both Florence and Rome.

However if you drive 15 minutes to Terontola, you will find some faster trains eg Florence in under an hour.

Just make sure you park in the further car park, as that’s free.
